Pier One vacation rentals and Harbor Heights Condominiums are committed to following and adhering to the state and federal CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests and our employees. We look forward to welcoming you back and ask that all potential guests review the guidelines required by the state of Maine.
Effective June 12, 2020, residents of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are exempt from all quarantine and testing requirements while renting and staying in Maine lodging facilities. Residents of other states and countries may not rent unless they have already completed a 14 day quarantine in a private residence in the state of Maine.
As of July 1, 2020, visitors who are not Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont residents may rent lodging in Maine but must complete a Certificate of Compliance form indicating either that they have received a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of arriving in Maine or that they will quarantine in Maine for 14 days, or that they have already completed their quarantine in Maine. Those quarantining in Maine may not go to restaurants, bars, food stores or any public place until the quarantine is completed.
A Certificate of Compliance must be presented at check-in for all Maine lodging, campgrounds, seasonal rentals, and other commercial lodging. Visitors may be asked to furnish proof of the negative test result upon request.
